Our Girls BGC international in Aberystwyth, Wales in July saw our U15s Captain Ceilidh Beckett follow in Mum, Jenna’s BGC Scotland footsteps.
Jenna Beckett (then Sime) was capped for Boys and Girls Clubs of Scotland U16s Girls Squad in 2001 at the International Rosebowl Tournament hosted at Belfast City playing fields.
Jenna and her 2001 teammates met Northern Ireland and Wales in a 2 day tournament with Scotland victorious.
Along with Jenna the squad featured future a Scottish Women’s Football legend Jo Love - current Partick Thistle player and former SWNT international who went on to amass an incredible 191 Scotland caps for her Country.
Congratulations to Ceilidh and Jenna on this unique achievement.
